Life in a Bell Jar

As I am waiting for my PalmPilot to sync, I thought I'd write a guest piece here.

A thought occurred to me as I was reading Vix's reaction to my missing posting. She mentioned that reading the piece was like a trip to the past. The response, coupled with a few observations, led me to a startling conclusion: the female of the species can only find spiritual satisfaction from misery. Why? Between euphoric exuberance and 7th hell there belies a state of consciousness known as contentment, or simply "ok". While in this state, most people are in an equilibrium whereby they are neither feeling great nor miserable. Naturally, being thus so means, in general, that one doesn't really have a lot of thoughts to share. I am of the opinion that women cannot deal with this state of mind (perhaps they require material to fulfil their needs to talk, feel sorry for people, or go to the toilet in pairs).

What I have been found guilty, is not so much a failure to express, but being content. I am now firmly rooted in the belief that the area I need to concentrate, is to exercise my ability to create misery more freely.
